My Top Favourite Websites of 2018 …

As an entrepreneur who is just starting out it can sometimes be hard to understand exactly why businesses pay so much for website designs. After all, as long as you have a functional website with all the appropriate audience content, it can’t matter that much what it looks like, right?

WRONG! This simply isn’t the case. Your website design is one of the utmost important aspects of your online presence. Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to break your bank and pay oodles of money for top-tier designers, but rather that you need to find a style of a design that works best for you and your business.

That is why I created this list! To me, the website you are about to see have it all going for them. I admit, not all the websites you see below were “created in 2018” … this is just my personal list favourites. Not only do I love these sites for their fresh and organized designs but also for the way they pack a punch in their business plan and how they put their information out to the world (especially with #1 on my list.

I find it’s good to stay on the up n’ up with what else is going on out there and as a designer it helps one thrive and feel inspired with seeing good design in the online world!

So, don’t waste anymore time … start scrolling and check out my list of website GREATNESS!

Remember, good design must tell a story. It must stop people, and it has to make them wonder. Good design is a conversation. One that is never-ending.

Every single time I create one of these lists to share with you I almost feel overwhelmed by how much I could just go on and on about every new design technique or the trends that emerge with each passing year within the creative industry. That’s why today was all about visual stimulation. With that in mind, what would you like to add to this list? What do you feel will hold as website design trends for 2018 or perhaps even what may be around the corner for trends of 2019? I would love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to share them in the comments.

Crystal is an artist, a writer, an organizer, a dreamer, a doer, and down-right proud of it NERD!.

Struck with a love for #AllThings creative at a very young age, Crystal dreamed of a life fueled by her passion for creating and bringing the stories and images in her mind into reality.

As she worked toward her dreams, she earned a diploma as a Computer Applications Specialist then another in Graphic Design and from there began to develop her extensive background in multimedia and the arts. She began her worked in the magazine industry as a layout designer and had a succession of design jobs thereafter. It was her role as a graphic/web designer that gave her the first real glimpse of her future. Soon she began a side job as a freelance designer while keeping one foot in the corporate world. A spark was lit! She turned her freelance gig into a full-time business combining design work with her other passion: creating organization from virtual chaos.

Crystal is one of the most organized individuals on the planet. She is by all means a Zen master of her crafts. She excels at helping others become “untangled” and provides her clients with tools to run their businesses smoothly while she takes care of the details behind the scenes. Thus Virtually Untangled was born. A successful business where her work as a top notch creative in graphic and web — with a twist of virtual assistant — married into one amazing place where clients can come with their virtual messes and become magically untangled. Crystal can always make sense of even the most unorganized chaos and offers a virtual detox of order and peace, so her clients can get busy doing the work that they love the most.
