Round-up of Influencers to Follow …

As I sit back and reflect on my life, I am so grateful for those I have learned from and have had major influence on my life. I can’t possibly capture everyone that has influenced my life but here are some of my TOP FIVE major female forces that helped shape me to who I am today – and who helped me make my business what it is from the teachings they’ve offered through their own business, books, blogs and works of art/design …

P.S.
The hyperlinks to each of these amazing individuals will take you to their Facebook pages or groups. I did this because I feel it’s important to see their impact on the world through the eyes of others as well as myself and highly suggest you LIKE, FOLLOW or JOIN!

Elizabeth Gilbert
Now this beloved author digs deep into her own generative process to share her wisdom and unique perspective about creativity. With profound empathy and radiant generosity, she offers potent insights into the mysterious nature of inspiration. She asks us to embrace our curiosity and let go of needless suffering. She shows us how to tackle what we most love, and how to face down what we most fear. She discusses the attitudes, approaches, and habits we need in order to live our most creative lives. Balancing between soulful spirituality and cheerful pragmatism, Gilbert encourages us to uncover the “strange jewels” that are hidden within each of us. Whether we are looking to write a book, make art, find new ways to address challenges in our work, embark on a dream long deferred, or simply infuse our everyday lives with more mindfulness and passion, Big Magic (her #1 New York Times bestseller – which I absolutely adore) cracks open a world of wonder and joy.

Reading Elizabeth’s book Big Magic has changed the way I think about my creativity and helps me endure my passions much more than I was allowing myself to do. If you are in any way a creative individual, her book is a game changer for sure!

Andrea Owen
Andrea has a unique personality but one you’ll just love! She helps women who deep down don’t feel good enough. They have bitchy inner-critics. They people please, perfect, control, isolate and numb their way through life. One day after hitting rock bottom, she decided enough is enough and opened her business Your Kick-Ass Life to help those women manage their inner-critics, let go of those shitty behaviours and learn how to embrace courage. Because COURAGE + CONFIDENCE = YOUR KICK ASS LIFE.

Andrea’s book 52 Ways to Live a Kick-Ass Life: BS-Free Wisdom to Ignite Your Inner Badass and Live the Life You Deserve was one of the very first books I read when I was struggling with the way my life had panned out and when I was trying to figure out how to move forward in many aspects. She made me realize that YES, I DO kick-ass and I DO deserve to follow my dreams and no longer put up with other people’s evil personalities. I AM WORTH IT.

Marc and Angel
Marc and Angel Chernoff are professional coaches, full-time students of life, admirers of the human spirit, and have been recognized by Forbes as having “one of the most popular personal development blogs.” Through their blog, book, course and coaching, they’ve spent the past decade writing about and teaching proven strategies for finding lasting happiness, success, love and peace. The goal of this blog is to give you the tools to identify and transform the limiting beliefs that keep you stuck.  Currently the site contains over 900 articles on happiness, productivity, emotional intelligence, relationships, and general self-improvement, and has attracted over 200 million page views and 150 thousand subscribers since its inception in 2006. Their daily rituals, mindfulness and self-care blog posts have shifted my perspective and something I look forward to reading on a daily basis.

Caitlin Pyle
Caitlin is one of the most determined women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I was first starting out my business (leaving the 9-5 behind) she interviewed me for her Work-At-Home-Heroes podcast which brought me bounds of connections to others who were just like me … feeling stuck and not sure where to take life next. In her Facebook group (and on her podcasts) she talks about being the hero of your own income story and to know that the journey is hard but worth it! Also, constantly reminding us that we don’t have to do it all alone!

Her Work-At-Home Hero Manifesto resonates with me completely … I believe I am made for more. I deserve to succeed financially. My past doesn’t dictate my future. If I can solve problems, I can make money. I write my own income story … and I am the Hero.

Julie Stoian
Owner of Create Your Laptop Life, she is a person addicted to challenge and likes to joke that she’s potentially your new best friend of your worst nightmare. Julie is one of those inspiring people who always keeps you on your toes. She loves to educate people about technology, marketing and online business. Through her business Create Your Laptop Life, she is a teacher and a mentor to business owners in the art and science of digital marketing who also oversees and runs a thriving 500 paid membership community. The long and short of it is … she teaches business owners how to market themselves online, make money, and live, bold and brave lives! Because life’s too short to not love what you do!

This list is just a small taste of how I got to be who I am today. I continue to learn and explore both my professional world and my personal world, and made a promise myself that I will grow, and learn the lessons I am meant to learn while here in this life. So, a HUGE THANK YOU to all these powerful beings who have impacted my life in a huge way and as I imagine many others and hopefully you as well!

Crystal Kordalchuk

Crystal is an artist, a writer, an organizer, a dreamer, a doer, and down-right proud of it NERD!.

Struck with a love for #AllThings creative at a very young age, Crystal dreamed of a life fueled by her passion for creating and bringing the stories and images in her mind into reality.

As she worked toward her dreams, she earned a diploma as a Computer Applications Specialist then another in Graphic Design and from there began to develop her extensive background in multimedia and the arts. She began her worked in the magazine industry as a layout designer and had a succession of design jobs thereafter. It was her role as a graphic/web designer that gave her the first real glimpse of her future. Soon she began a side job as a freelance designer while keeping one foot in the corporate world. A spark was lit! She turned her freelance gig into a full-time business combining design work with her other passion: creating organization from virtual chaos.

Crystal is one of the most organized individuals on the planet. She is by all means a Zen master of her crafts. She excels at helping others become “untangled” and provides her clients with tools to run their businesses smoothly while she takes care of the details behind the scenes. Thus Virtually Untangled was born. A successful business where her work as a top notch creative in graphic and web — with a twist of virtual assistant — married into one amazing place where clients can come with their virtual messes and become magically untangled. Crystal can always make sense of even the most unorganized chaos and offers a virtual detox of order and peace, so her clients can get busy doing the work that they love the most.
