Rooted in Community. Ready to Listen.
Let’s build what’s next for Altona, together.
Whether you found your way here though one of my flyers, a conversation around town, or simply out of curiosity, I’m genuinely glad you’re here.
Running for Town Council wasn’t a decision I made overnight. It came from a growing appreciation for this community and a desire to give something back. Over time, I’ve come to realize that some of the best ideas come from one person. They come from neighbours listening to one another, asking good questions, and working together toward practical solutions.
I’m not running because I have all the answers. I’m running because I care about Altona’s future and because I have a lot of respect for the people who already call it home.
This is your community too, and I’d be honoured to help build what’s next, together.
I am a problem solver by profession and … a people person at heart.
My career has been spent helping people untangle complex challenges by organizing ideas, finding practical solutions, getting creative and bringing people together. Those are the same skills I hope to bring to Town Council.
I’ve lived and grown in this community for a few years now — this town isn’t just where I live, it’s where my family, my neighbours, my business, and my routines are. That grounding shapes how I show up: honest, present, and willing to do the work to make things a little better.
Through my business, Virtually Untangled, I work with organizations and entrepreneurs to turn complicated ideas into clear, practical plans. My work requires me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, consider different perspective, and find a path forward when the answer is not immediately obvious. It has also taught me that meaningful progress usually happens when people feel heard and are willing to work together.
Altona has given me a place where I feel grounded, connected, and invested in what comes next. I appreciate its small-town character, its local businesses and organizations, and the genuine pride people take in this community. I would be honoured to contribute my time, experience, and perspective to helping Altona continue to grow thoughtfully while protecting what already makes it special.
The more time I spent in Altona, the more I realized something special wasn’t just the town itself.
It was the people.
Neighbours who look out for one another. Small businesses trying to do right by their customers. Volunteers who quietly give hard hours to make our community stronger. This is the kind of place where people know each other, and where people invest in where they live — not for recognition, but because they care.
Running for town council wasn’t something I came to overnight. I love our local government. I trust it. I also believe every level of government can be a little better when we listen more carefully, ask more questions, and keep everybody’s needs and everyone’s opportunities in mind. I don’t expect to have every answer, but I do believe my role is to show up.
I come from a growing desire to give back to a community that has given so much to the people who call it home. I’ll bring my curiosity, my love of the work, and a willingness to be present. I don’t approach this campaign with an agenda. I approach it with the same qualities I hope to bring to the council table.
The best ideas don't belong to one person. They come from a community that's willing to listen to one another.
These are not promises or quick fixes. They are commitments to how I will show up for you and our community.
I'll show up in person, listen more than I speak, and take what I hear into every room I'm in.
I'll help make sure our neighbours, our young families, and our seniors always have a seat at the table.
I'll champion our local shops, farms, and services because they hold our community together.
I'll ask the hard questions about how each decision shapes our town today and tomorrow.
You'll be able to reach me. If you have a concern, an idea, or a questions, I'll hear it.
I'll show up prepared, follow through on what I say, and act with honesty at every step.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and learn a little more about me.
Whether we meet at your doorstep, at a community event, or simply crossing paths around town, I hope you’ll feel comfortable stopping to say hello. I’d love the opportunity to hear your ideas, listen to your concerns, and learn more about what matters most to you.
Serving our community begins with listening, and that’s a commitment I’ll carry with me every step of the way.
Thank you for your time, your support, and for caring about the future of Altona.
